Questions & answers

Is the paint safe for sensitive skin?

Yes. Dana only uses FDA-compliant, cosmetic-grade face paints made for skin. If your child has sensitive skin or allergies, just ask for a quick patch test before the party starts. Every guest gets a clean brush, and sponges are never reused between faces.

What if it rains, or we're outdoors?

Face painting works best in the shade, so please have a shaded spot with a table and two chairs ready to go. If the weather turns, move the setup under a tent, porch, or indoors and Dana will paint there instead. For a full washout, we'll work with you on a rain plan or a reschedule.

Do you require a deposit, and what's your cancellation policy?

No deposit is required right now — you simply book your date online. If plans change, just email at least 48 hours before your event to cancel or reschedule at no charge.

What should we have ready before Dana arrives?

A shaded table with two chairs, an outlet nearby if you have one, and a rough headcount are all that's needed. Dana brings the paints, glitter, gems, brushes, and a mirror for the big reveal.

Is there a minimum age for face painting?

Dana paints kids ages 3 and up. Toddlers and littler ones can still join in with a small, quick design on the cheek so everyone feels included.

How far do you travel?

Dana travels anywhere within the service radius shown on the booking page at no extra charge. If you're just outside that area, reach out anyway — she's happy to see if it can work.
